This is similiar to a shot I posted several months ago.

Yours is a good example of how shooting at different angles can enhance an image, and turn an average shot into a very good if not great one. I'm not trying to hijack the thread by posting the image, just trying to demostrate this point.

yea.. i took a few straight on as well.. but i preferred the one that showed a little bit more depth.. actually got a few "keepers" from that little test shoot.. i posted another one on my site i think..

but rj, your shot is great too.. be sure to be on the lookout on your deck this fall again

I like both of your leaf shots, Hards, but I really like this one for its depth - very effectively done with a simple subject. The moss does not bother me, it just looks natural. I sort of like the nail as it adds some scale. Anyway, nice shot.
