Shot this on Monday Sep 26 when some tropical weather rolled through southern California. Am smitten by the photobug. Have a Nikon 8800 for telephoto and image stabilized shots and the Nikon 8400 for wide angle shots. Will move to an SLR eventually, but for now I like the moveable LCD to preview shots for weird angles, the ability to capture video, and no worry about dust on the CCD.

Please fire away with any suggestions or criticisms you have to offer.

I might disagree with Julie, if I could see the road. I would try to lighten everything below the mountain range. It might not work, but it might. It is a great shot, either way!
