I am with you on the camera thing however I have learnt the hard way that a little post processing can make even the best shot better. To think that evem 35mm true photographers just take the photo is incorrect. Post processing on a computer can achieve the same results as the trickery of a dark room speicalist with film!

Personally I feel it is somewhere in between. There is a lot you can do with Photoshop or other packages however if you have a bad shot to begin with you can't really do too much to make it better without taking most of the original away with PP.

So to me the trick is make the shot you can the best you can to do the least with a post processing package.

You said it yourself you could have moved the car? If you had there would have been a lot less PPto worry about.
