A friend just sold out his woodturning business, and had some bowl blanks left over, so he gave me this. It originally came from one of my trees which had had to be taken down due to damage.Having a lathe myself, I took a try at finishing it off.

Comments welcome, especially as to exposure and composition.

I think the greenery behind the bowl and the wood itself look great together. Not sure about the grey surface - maybe that should have been darker?

It looks slightly hot on the front edge maybe just want to diffuse the light a little.

I find it difficult to comment on composition as it is an object. Maybe make it perfectly centered as it is the main focus of the shot? Not sure I am still learning this myself!
