Hello everyone.

I need to make double-sided b/w copies sometimes.

Does the MP830 auto-duplex copying using composite black as it does while duplex printing?

What about quality of duplex copies?

Thanx in advance

Just

A part of Canon's reasoning for using composite black when duplex printing is that this mixed black dries fast enough for the duplex operation to continue without smudging the ink of the just printed side, at least that is what I have read in this forum. Based on that, I would assume Canon uses the same principles for duplex copying, such that black is a composite color.

I amsatisified with the duplex output in standard (or slower) mode but not in fast mode, which looks like draft mode to me. Iwould think twice, though, about using the duplex output for a business/professional presentation where highest quality is an issue.
