I have been using non Epson carts for some time now in my Epson R200. Today I had to replace the magenta cart. After doing so it said the cart could not be recognized. I changed it again in case i had a faulty one and now it says all the carts cannot be recognized. Any help would be appreciated.

Maybe the chips are no longer a matching set -- many non-OEM cart vendors re-brand their carts and sometimes change their supplier, look closely for manufacturing differences between the old and new carts.

Maybe you have a bad contact on one or more chips.

If you have Epson Status Monitor installed, remove or disable it.

If you have a working OEM cart set, install it and test the printer.
