Default Where to buy and which brand in UK

Hi

I have a Canon i850 and very happy with the quality of the prints on Glossy Photo Cards, HR Paper and Photo Paper Pro.

I have considered buying other brands of paper but not sure which ones. Is it better to stay with the brand for your printer or buy others.

So which paper do you guys use with a Canon printer (A4 and 4x6) and where is the best place to buy them in the UK.

The majority of printing I do is 4x6 as I really only ever print the ones I want to keep or give to family

Many Thanks

Stephen

HAven't tried their products yet, but have seen good feedback on Red River Paper. You can order inexpensive sample packs before investing in a full package.

I highly recommend (olympus) pictorico papers, especially high gloss film and photo gallery glossy paper. They're great! Colours are better than on Canons pr-101 and last longer. The output is also sharper. Haven't tried other papers but I suppose they also are great.

One disadvantage though; they aren't cheap; pack of 20 4x6" photo gallery glossy costs around 8-10 bucks. But they are one of THE best papers for i850/i950 and the best papers ever made.

Have a look at www.7dayshop.com

They're based in Jersey so no Vat

The Ilford Galerie Pro Glossy and Smooth Pearl are excellent with the Canon, and cheaper than the Canon or Epson equivalents, have a look here, http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/defa...Path=777_2_208

They are also cheap for NiMh batteries, 2000mAH Panasonics at 5.95 for 4, 2200mAH for 6.35 and the new 2300mAH for 9.79, see, http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/defa...ort=2a&&page=3 and page 4

For 6x4 the Epson 41134 is available in a triple pack (60 sheets) for 13.75 or the 41255 for 3.56 for 20 sheets, http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/defa..._id=21&&page=2

They do Internet order shipping at 95p and it usually takes about 7-10 days to arrive, no matter what you order it's put into jiffy bags marked value 17.99 so no import duty

Yeah I am a customer of theirs but they don't sell much canon paper so I thought I would ask here. (I placed an order with them recently but they do not have canon paper in stock so I am waiting).

Thanks for the tip on the paper I was not sure wether I should stay canon or buy other. SO thanks again

Regards
