I am trying to print a cd in a cd tray c in a pixma canon ip5200. only 1/4 of the disc is printed on the lower edge of the cd away from the printer. It seems as if the printer tray has the cd holder opening in the wrong position but there isn't another way to position it. Is there a setting I can change on the printer or computer so that the full surface of the disc prints?:O. I have been hours attempting to print a cd. would appreciate help. thanks

What software are you using ?

Are you using the "preview before printing" feature and if so what does it show before you print ?

The problem is likely not in your printer, but in the software used to set up the label. I use Nero software and originally set up my own paper definition and located the template exactly to print where it should. Later versions came out with the pixma CD definiton built in.

I don't know what software you are using, but suggest you look for the paper definiton. You should be able to find a means of adjusting the print area.

Good Luck
