Looking to add a wide carriage printer and have been overwhelmed by the different information on various posts on good vs. bad for each printer.

I currently have an HP 8450 and have been very please with the results. Most of my prints have/will be on satin/soft gloss paper as I just prefer that over the glossy. Most prints will also be color with about 20% being black and white. I can get he HP 8750 new for $357 and the Epson (refurb thru Epson) for $389.

I guess I'm just looking for some guidance as to which one. I've not had much experience with Epsons and haven't had too much luck with Canon since I had an old S820 and Canon had very limited paper types.

Help.. It is appreciated.

$299 for R1800 refurb if you live in the USA.
