Hello everyone,

Yea I know it sounds trange but I think I am the only one round that would like his printer ( paper) to run slower. I explain: I would like to use my epson ( anyone..the one I have now is too old) for some electronic printing. To do this the print should be really opaque and the only solution that came to my mind is to make the heads and the paper run slower ( without changing the printing frequency). I was told that was possible by hacking the firmware or changing the Registry in the computer:

I would really appreciate any help. and thanks in advance.

PS: ok ok..my english is terrible ( italy here).

Depending on which model you have, you should be able to disable the high speed print from the printer driver. Using color control panel, also in printer driver, you can also increase contrast and saturation. Setting the gamma from the factory default of 1.8 to 2.2 will also give you a darker print.
