Default Canon i950 - HOW TO LOAD PHOTO PAPER

I have read the manual, checked all the help screens, but NOWHERE can I find how to load 4"x6" Photo Paper Pro paper. The only manual I have is the Quick Start Guide (I don't recall if there is another manual that came with the i950).

Is the paper supposed to be all the way to the left? How do I slide the sliders around?

I can't believe there is NO instruction on the most fundamental of things. Who's writing these manuals?

Also, on the Properties page, if you go through the Print Advisor and say you want 4"x 6" borderless photos, on the PAGE SETUP tab, it STILL shows Letter under PAGE SIZE.

I guess I'm going to have to burn a few sheets of paper to find out HOW to load it and how to print.

I even searched the site (canon) but can't find any info about loading paper (or in my case, 4" x 6" photo paper).

On both my old S800 (predecessor to the i950) and my new i9100, when looking at the front of the printer, you load the 4x6 paper for borderless printing on the far right side with either short side down, then move the paper guide from the left over.

Yes, that's it. Push the left guide to the right side until it's 4 inches from the right end. Load a sheet with the print-side up.

When I used my i950 the 1st time, I had to guess

Funny thread - I just got the i950 and also was unable to find anything about loading the paper! I had to guess too.

So far I've printed 5 4x6s and 7 full size sheets, they look great! On the full size sheets I printed some on HP Premium Glossy and some on Canon Photo Paper Plus Glossy. I can honestly say there was a bit of a difference with the Canon paper looking better. The 4x6s were also printed on Canon's Photo Paper Plus - they look fab!
