Default packing printer for move

:P i'm moving for awhile and put my canon s820 printer back in the box it came in but was wondering should the ink carts be removed. it's going to take about 21 hours to drive down to FL. I am taking the printer in my car with my tower but leting the moving company take the monitor cause i don't have the room.

There are two things I recommend.
1. Remove the ink cartridges as you have mentioned and store them in zip lock bags. They still may not be useable at the distant location but at least they will not leak on everthing.
2. block the printhead carriage with a piece of foam so that it can not be jarred loose.
3. Tape down all covers and remove and paper feeders.
