Welcome to the Forums.

I've moved this thread down to our Photo Inkjet forum, where you'll be more likely to find some members that can help you out with your printer issues.

My guess is that your heads are clogged if the ink cartridges have ink in them. Sometimes the cleaning cycles will fix it, and sometimes that doesn't help.

Some of our members more knowledgeable with printers can probably help you troubleshoot it. Good luck!

Have you left the machine without carts in it for some time, or unused for an extended period?

These things will clog up if left till the ink dries in the nozzles.

Reading through this quite extensive thread may help:

If you don't do any good from that, reply with more information and we'll' do our best to help.

Assuming Idles guess is accurate re: printer has sat idle (no pun intended!) possibly without cartridges in, then your printhead will be all nice and clogged up.

This stuff gets discussed a lot on various forums so a few other possible resources to try:

... and this.

(try to ignore the personality clashes in the last one... folks like to be right! )

The key ingredient in sorting these things though is patience. Take that on board and you'll be laughing.
