I currently own an Epson R800 with which I've had a love hate relationship. It is extremely finicky about color management.

I can take the same jpg file using Photoshop's color management and the proper paper profile for my paper and not get as good color rendition with the R800 as I get from my Epson PictureMate PM260.

My monitor is calibrated with the Gretag MacBeth Eye One Display II and the color I get from the Picture comes very, very close to what I see on the screen. The only thing I have to do is cancel the "enhancement" in the printer, which increases saturation.

I would love to find an equivalent pigment ink printer like the PictureMate that prints great color so easily!
