Hi:

I was making some test prints in my canon mp510, sudently the printer turns it self off (i didn't notice this apen) and now if refuses to turn on...

Any sugestions for this?:?

I had exacthy the same thing happen to my mp600 when i was doing test prints. The first annoying thing was that the carts and head were locked inside .

I took the body apart to get the head and carts out. The second really annoying thing :-

When I tried the head in my 5200.....it wrote that off as well.......I think because it must have fried in the mp600. ........and that was what caused the mp600 to fail

Soooo..............rescue the carts.........dump the rest. Or take it to your local friendly Canon repair agent..............and then dump it when they give you the estimate.
