Default Kodak Premium Picture Paper

Is it true that Kodak paper is gives poor results when compared with manufactueres own brands?

It all depends on the printer that you are going to use. Kodak papers don't work to well with Canon or Epson printers, at least for me. I have had really good luck with Kodak papers with my old HP though.

With Canon printers, I have seen very poor quality in skin tones, overall details, and they don't like to dry. In Epson printers, they have trouble with whites, clouds, and some detail. The clouds with the Epson/Kodak paper came out pink for me.

In HP printers, mine was a 930C, the prints were great. I felt they were on par with HP papers.

So, if you have a Canon or Epson printer, Kodak papers don't work to well. For HP printers, I have had good luck with them.
