Default Canon 990/9000 Icc profiles

I am a new owner of a Canon 900, and the prints seem a bit too saturated on Canon paper, alittle more on Epson paper.
Does anyone know where I might find some ICC profiles for this printer that would help?
Thanks
Lon

Thanks for the inputs. My son found some profiles at http://wandb.com/icc.htm they turned myCanon S900 into a great printer, best I've seen in this price range

Joe Barnhart's profiles are on
http://wandb.com/icc.htm

Some people (including me) have had problems with the Epson HW Matte profile. All the others seem to be fine. HWM prints pretty well with the standard Canon printer profile if you select matte paper from the driver.

I hope this isn't a dumb question. What do you do with the profiles. how do you load them into your computer? Thanks from a newbie

This is a link to another discussion forum which itself has links to various articles on what profiles are for and how to use them.

Joe Barnhart's profiles come with a small text file telling you how to use them. Basically you download the profile and copy it into the Windows folder which holds colour profiles - depends on the version of Windows but doing a search for *.icm files will show you which folder to copy to.

Your image manipulation software or print program should have an option for choosing a profile. The links above tell you how to do it for Photoshop and Qimage.
