I just got an HP B9180 printer and I want to print greeting cards using my nature photos but I'm not sure what stock to use. I would like a smaller size and Red River has some papers that look great but the size is 7" X 10" and I don't see where that size is listed on my printer. Can I print 7" X 10" even though that isn't listed? The printer has alot of the standard sizes like 8 X 10, 8 1/2 X 11, etc. If I was to print on the 7 X 10 would I need to select 8 1/2 X 11? Or can I just not use that size? I tried some Avery card paper that was 8 1/2 X 11 and that was awful! In the special media tray it kept rejecting the paper and when I put it in the regular tray it printed but hung up on th last portion and put an inky streak accross the end and printed out of registration. The paper was pretty thin so maybe I slelected the wrong setting by using everyday photo matte and should have selected a thinner paper stock? I'm a newby with this printer so any advice and direction anyone can point me is welcome. Thanks for your help.
