I hope somebody out there can help with my problem.

I started to get whacky coloured prints from my Canon s9000 printer and after much research I was advised to change the printer head. I did this and placed all the cartridges (mostly full) into the new printer head. I conducted a nozzle check and print head alignment and on the printouts I noticed that the photo magenta was not present whatsoever! I replaced the photo magenta cartridge and got the same result.

I replaced the old head just to check and that head is the same, absolutely no photo magenta on the print outs.

I've been on the phone to canon to see if they can help, they gave me the standard reply which was to take it to the nearest service centre (200 miles away)

Does anybody have anything I can try to resolve this issue before I have no hair left?

Tony
