Hi, I have the epson stylus R2400 and I like the prints it produces .I mostly print with epson enhanced mat paper so that there is no glare.Seeing how it is considered an inkjet with k3 ink does it qualify as professional photo printing as I am about to show my prints framed? Can I ask for the same price as if they were printed in a professional lab.

Welcome to our site!

I moved this to a more appropriate forum.

Good luck.

The Epson R2400 is as good as anything available. I was considering buying one myself, when my wife surprised me with the R1800. For glossy color, it seems the 1800 has a bit of an edge, but for B&W printing, the 2400 has considerably better quality.

I doubt anyone would be able to discern a difference between output from your printer (at best quality) and a print from a pro lab. Many labs seem to be going to inkjet printers these days as well.

Ask whatever price you like. If people like your work, they will buy it.
