Default Epson Stylus Photo R300, R300M, and RX500

Epson just announced a couple of new photo printers.
Look to be midrange (like the 900). Individual ink cartidges, and PC-free printing.
Check out the Epson U.S. website for details. There is nothing on the front page, but they are listed under photo printers.

I went to Best Buy with my wife to buy the Canon i960, and an Epson representitive was there and he showed me comparisons of two digital photo printouts, one printed with the Canon i960 and one with the Epson R300. They both looked VERY good, but the Epson seemed to have a better color to it.

The Epson has the 6 different ink cartidges, and you can stick your memory stick directly in the printer and (with the R300m) view the picture on the printer itself before deciding to print it. You can also print directly to CD's that allow direct printing. It was pretty sweet. The R300 was $180 and the R300m is $230.

Anyways, we're now waiting to see reviews on the Epson R300 before we decide whether to stick with the Canon i960 or go with the Epson R300.

Steve, if you're listening how about writing a review on this bad boy?
