Have an Epson R800 that I think may not be worth repairing (paper feed not working properly - pulls in one side but not the other).
I've been pretty happy with the Epson; prior to that had Canon which I actually liked slightly better.

Most of the new printers are wide carriage for 13x9" printing (Epson R1400, Canon 9000, etc). I don't have a lot of space and would ideally prefer a narrow carriage printer. I rarely print anything larger than 8x10, so don't think I'd benefit from the wide carriage.
Printer should also support basic plain paper printer needs (i.e. the occasional document or email) though I don't have heavy use for that.

Any suggestions? Also, what sites for printer reviews do you like?

Thanks, in advance, for your suggestions.

Hurry to the Canon store for an IP6600D (refurb).

Easy to refill (if you choose to)and great photos. Newer generation have smaller cartridges. This generation of Canon printers are dissappearing fast! Keep in mind that ituses dye based ink, not pigment like your R800 and will be more susceptible to fading than the Epson (UV and ozone).
