Welcome to the forums.

I've moved your thread down to our Photo Inkjet Forum, where you may find some tips on getting it to work.

Most printer drivers have the ability to show you ink levels, clean and align nozzles, and more. So, if you right click on a printer icon and select properties, you may find the info you are looking for.

Here's an example of what you'd get with an Epson R1800:

Go to the Maintenance tab for more:

Chances are, your printer's driver has similar features.

Is this a newly installed printer or one you have used before? In many cases, people install the ink cartridges without pushing them down far enough, and the printer doesn't read the chip. There should be a definite click when you install the carts.

Sorry if this seems too elementary.

You can also try this program SSC Service Utility for Epson Stylus Printers. Good luck.
