Default Canon i960 cost per page

Does anyone have any idea what this printer cost to print an 8x10 picture at best quality. I am thinking about buying one, but have not been able to find this info out. Canon said it prints 375 pages at 4%, not what I need!

I will be using the canon photo paper pro?? The best paper they produce.

Thanks, Mike

Let me give you an idea of how many prints I have been able to get out of my i9100 when I first got it using the supplied ink tanks.

I was able to print 60 4x6, 15 8.5x11, and 5 13x19 borderless prints before I received one notification that one of my ink tanks was empty using Easy Photo Print on the Defaut quality setting.

I figure an 8x10 will run you about $1 - $1.50 (depending on how much you pay for the 8.5x11 paper) on Photo Paper Pro, about $.65 - $1.10 on Photo Paper Plus Glossy, and $.50 - $.75 on Matte Photo Paper.

Are you printing really heavy and dark photos? I went through more than a pack and a half of the 13x19 P. P.Pro before switching out the PC and PM tanks.

My pictures have been a fair mix of light and dark.

Default I agree -- about a buck for ink per 8.5x11

I (independently) calculated ink usage, and posted on 11/11/03 prior to reading this thread.
