Default What's the best printer for infrequent usage?

My Epson 700 Photo died a mechanical death - the head kept banging. But it also gave problems with clogs when I didn't use it frequently. Unfortunately, experience shows that I don't remember to do it - I tried with the Epson 700 and kept forgetting.

I realize from posts here and elsewhere, that one strategy for dealing with infrequent usage in an Epson is to print something out every week - i.e., use it reasonably frequently.

What I'd like to learn is what you think the best printer brand (or specific model) is for seriously infrequent usage - one you can forget about for a few weeks or months, and perhaps have to do a nozzle cleaning routine before using, but one that won't dry up the cartridge or clog the nozzles if left alone for 2 weeks to a month.

Alternatively, if you have some routine like removing the cartrigde and putting it in the fridge after printing (that's a joke, son) that doesn't involve remembering to run a print job every week, that would be interesting as well.

Thanks for the help!

If you are only printing 4X6 photos, then you could use dye sub printer. The Hiti 630/640 does not use ink and there are no print heads to clog.
