Default Canon pixma pro9500 - custom max paper size

Hi from Rome!
Thats my first post!I need your help

Yesterday i read a review about canon pro9500 mark i ,telling that "found an interesting anomaly in the printer driver's Page Setup settings. Despite being an A3+ (329 x 483 mm) printer, the driver actually supports a paper size of 431.8 x 558.8 mm, which is almost A2 size".
About mark ii model telling "like the Mark I, the Mark II has a Custom setting for paper sizes, although it's a little different from its predecessor, with a maximum size of 420 x 676 mm, compared with 431.8 x 558.8 mm for the previous model".

Has anyone already print 420mm in custom mode setting???
Even if drivers permit that,i dont think printer's width is enough to print so large paper...
And last question... is there any easy way to overcome the paper length size limitations???I need to use roll paper for cad use.I have read all relative topics in this forum, but there is no answer yet.
Thanks in advance for your answer.
