Default non computer inkjet for c750uz

Bought daughter c750uz and she doesn't own a computer. We need some input on what folks would consider the top couple of inkjets in the 150-200 range and why you would pick them. This camera is not PictBridge so she needs to put the xD card in I guess. Please help us.

Hi Andrus,

Beings that your daughter doesn't own a computer, she will need a "stand alone" printer.

I know that many folks who need or like the option of stand alone seem to lean towards the Canon i900d.

HiTi offers a stand alone dye sub printer, 630ps for under $200 on the 'net, I believe. This printer only prints 4x6, though.

I'm sure all the other top runners have their stand-alone versions and perhaps others who have them, will respond. Hopefully

Here is a list of printers offered on Amazon that offers a camera memory card slot: http://tinyurl.com/vsh1

If I *needed* a stand alone ink jet printer, I would opt for the Canon i900d.
Beings that I don't, I'm opting for it's apparent (according to opinions, even of the owner of this site, Steve) equivilent: the Canon i960.

I hope this helps and good luck in your quest. By the way...you're such a thoughtful dad 8)

Take care,

The 630ps does not accept XD cards. You would have to buy a CF adapter and it will cost $50. The HP Photosmart 245 sells for $200 and accepts the XD card. The printer also has an lcd panel that lets you select the picture you want to print and do some editing of the pictures before printing.
