Default Canon i960 Color Balance

My brand new 960 printer is just perfect. Well, almost perfect. I would like to get some of the magenta out of the skin tones. Does anyone have experience with the manual settiings? Also, has anyone tried the .ICC profiles you can buy? If so, was it worth it?

BTW I am using Canon Photo Pro glossy paper.

Thx,

RJ

Thought about buying a I960 or a I900D. What do you think of your 960? Is worth the money?

I just purchased a i960 and am very pleased with the results. I'm using RedRiver Polar Glossy and Polar Satin papers with the ICC profiles they provide. The colors are dead on with my monitor (calibrated with ColorVision Spyder).

If you're using Canon paper, why not just use the supplied profiles? I used their sample pack paper and got good results (no magenta casts).
