Default Running the same piece of paper multiple times

To save paper when printing tests on my Epson 2200, I'd like to print a strip of an image on a larger piece of paper. Then for subsequent tests I'd print on the same piece of paper in an adjacent area.

Does anyone know if this will hurt or gum up the 2200? Also, is it possible that by repeatedly running the same piece of paper thru the printer that the quality of subsequent test strips will be affected?

Thanks!

I have done this with black tests .. just don't print over the same place .. and make sure the ink is dry on the paper before re-passing.
