Default lines on photo paper from a S9000

I have printed several 4X6 and perhaps 6 8X10 photos on my Canon S9000, which have been just fantastic - but - tonight I'm getting vertical lines 3/8" apart, all across my 8X10 photo paper with another set of lighter lines 1/8" to the right of each solid line. The lighter lines are intermittent but still go the entire length and width of the page. They look like scratch marks but the paper texture is very smooth so I don't think they're scratch marks. Does anyone know what the problem might be? I sure would like to learn what caused it and how I can prevent it from happening again. Thanks

Joe

I discovered my problem - someone changed paper type in the properties section and I didn't check everything as I should have prior to printing. I don't know why the lines appeared with a different paper choice but they did. Right now the most important thing to me until I learn a little more is that they disappeared once I checked the proper paper choice.
