I have the R300, no problem with graphics or photo prints. Very nice job on both overall no complaints. I don't like HP because of the "star roller" issue and the TCO, they are very expensive in the long run.

When I asked the same question in Fry's a while back, I was told by the Canon rep who seemed to have good basic knowledge, that the i860 was a great all around text and photo printer, that did not gobble the ink as my HP 952 seems to do. I like the individual cart. and the color photos looked pretty good. When I went back a few weeks later, the same Canon rep was there and this time he responded that the i960 printed much better photos, which I will have to agree looked really good. So I am still using my HP that tends to leave roller tracks on photo paper but gives pretty realistic color photos (hate the tab 4x6 hassle)and keep buying $50 cartridges until the next best thing comes out and I look again!!!
