Default Epson 960 & 925 Printers

Know of any hands on review of these yet. The 925 is a better version of the 785EXP but with the same problem. All in one color ink cart and usless photo editing since the LCD screen for it is only 1.6". My Olympus 360L screen gives a better picture. The 960 has seperate inks cart which i guess in the long run will cost less than the 925 in ink even if i have to replace the Microteck Smartmedia cardreader in the feature. Why can't Epson combine best of 925 & 960 into one printer with a 2.5 to 3" monitor.

First, the 925 is the replacement of 785EPX. And it will be around the same price point. The reason they don't want to give a bigger LCD is because it increases cost dramatically. Most people will not buy the LCD if it's more than $100. So, they've optimized the price: feature ratio. Epson's marketers do a great job by providing products at different price points, if they provide all the features of 960 in the 925, nobody will buy the 960. This is the same strategy Intel uses.
