Default Epson Stylus Photo R320 End Sensor not working

It's an old printer, but it would be nice to fix it rather than skip it. I suspect it's not hard, given the right instructions.

It fell on the floor, and now when going through it's startup it runs OK until it whizzes to the left and goes clunk, rather than a graceful return, and gives a general error, which cannot be recovered from.

Reading around it may be that the end sensor cable may have become dislodged, but it's not obvious having taken the top off where that is - there's nothing obvious.

Does anyone have a service manual for this old printer, or any helpful guide (with pictures?) on how to progress?

Many thanks!

Default

To follow up, in case anyone sees this, I tried squeezing the flat cables into the print head carriage, and I suspect that pushing the bottom one was the solution (arrowed in the attachment).

I took the silver top off (screws, including one under the top LCD, and clips pushed from inside), which was a lot of hassle, but I'm sure it could be done without doing so.
