When I referred to 'bad reviews', I'm talking about the high percentage of bad reviews vs good on the same models.

I pick up a spare 4300 (as I had a spare 560). I'll have to see how things go when I have to replace these. I wanted to go w/ a Brother LED Printer, but size, cost of supplies and too many reports of poor print quality, dissed that. I just not a fan of HP in spite of the semi-monopoly they seem to have on the printer (not as bad a Wintel has, thank goodness which is another story). I had one before I got the 560 and refilling their tanks was terrible. Seeing some of their miniature sized tanks they use (or used) now is more of a turn off.

One more thing, the reasons I didn't choose Epson were;

1. Pigmented inks clog faster than dye based,
2. Their printheads are very hard to replace and more expensive (basically not user replaceable),
3. I print very few photos, so the longevity of pigmented is not a plus. Dye based inks are fine.
