I've noticed this will all my cameras.....

On screen, the picture looks fine - just like the real thing. When I print it out onto either my HP 1220c or my HP 1100, there isn't enough green. The 1100 is worse than the 1220c. Its very weird.

So, what can I do about it ? I don't want to change the phot - that seems OK but there doesn't seem to be colour adjustment on the printer drivers.

On bothprinters, I can adjust saturation, color tone and brightness. But I don't see any of those curing the problem.

What am I missing and how can I sort this out ?

Thanks for any help

I have the same problem with my printer. It's calibrated and color matched to my monitor - but it just doesn't do green very well at all. Photos look great as long as there isn't much green.

The biggest problem seems to be dark green. Light green is OK but dark greens just look like crap. Maybe it has something to do with how a CMY printer has to mix inks to get green. My printer is an old Epson 880 so I'm hoping my new R800 will do a better job.

:idea:My Canon i960 has the same issue. I think that they should have a green inktank for more vibrant greens. They probably will someday,to go along with the photo cyan and photo magenta. Then maybe a photo green would be needed, too. I printa lot of landscapes, so this would nice.
