I just bought the canon i860 and I tested it out right away to make sure I was happy with everything. Everything works fine, but now one week later, the prints are too yellow. If the ink was running out, wouldn't the printer tell me? What could it be considering the colors were perfect a few days ago? Any help greatly appreciated.

First, are you what paper are you using? If it is a glossy type of paper, make sure its Canon.

Beyond that, it is possible one or two of the cartridges stopped ejecting (leaning toward the ejecting color in color balance now). Run a nozzle check pattern, see if any are not ejecting. If this is the case, run a print head cleaning until they start firing again.

Shouldnt really have to run a cleaning that often.. unless the printer is in a really dusty area or you have pets. (cat hair has gummed up a printhead in the past)
