Default ink blotches on kodak paper

hi - just got a epsom 1290(UK) - wonderful results on epsom paper. BUT - I have a drawer full of kodak premium glossy and get brown/green colours very blotchy on the kodak paper - almost like oil droplets on the surface of water. Any hope of redemption, or should I simply bin the (expensive) kodak paper??

I had this problem with the Stylus Photo 820 and called Kodak. They were very helpful giving me settings for the paper I wanted to use. I now get beautiful pictures. If you can, contact Kodak.
