Hi all !

I want to buy a Canon i900D but the largest paper size you can use is 8.5 x 11. Does anyone know if you can override the paper size and print out a photo quality print on a size of paper of approx 8.5 x 18 ? I won't be using the sofware from canon to make the collage. Will the printer print whatever I send it in whatever size I send itoff my pc in photo quality as long as I stay within the 8.5 " dimension ? I can get photo paper in a 8.5" x 20" size........Thanks for any help you guy's can give me.

The Canon software shows you can manually input your dimensions. The "height" listed maximum is 23.39 inches. So I would assume you could do so, but I have personally never tried it.

Thank you Mayhem. I've e-mailed Canon and all they did was quote the spec book . With all the printers that I've own I was able to print as long of a page as I wanted as long as I've stayed within the physical capabilities of the paper feed.I can't really imagine Canon putting such a limitation on their product but then I couldnt believe Compaq sold me a brand new pc without a copy of the os either. Once again.....Thank you very much for your imput.
