Default HEY GUYS EPSON2200 OR OLYMPUS P-400

I HAVE A HP 5500 AND I WAHNT TO GET BETTER QUALITY NO DOT ON THE SHADOWED EREAS SO MY QUESTION TO THE PROS ARE WHAT SHALL I GET EPSON 2200 OR OLYMPUS P-400
IM PLANIG ON GETTING THE OLYMPUS E-20 TOO SO I NEED SOME FEED BACK...THANX

read what steve had to say which is again spot on. the olympus unit is compromised of a paper that is generally only available direct from olympus and so is the dye transfer media. this generally means premium price for product.

the availability of a variety of papers for the 2200 already exists. ink cartridges are about $9.00 per color.

Also the 2200 prints much clearer than the P400 when we did print samples on both the epson and the P400 you could see/read backround text on the Epson the olympus was to blurry to see/read.

These are two very different printers with very different capabilities. However, I suggest you look at this site:

Although the Olympus isn't included, two Kodak dye subs are. Read all the comments which go into the pros and cons of dye subs v. inkjets.
