Hi there,
My first post ..!
At the moment I use an Epson Photostylus 935 for my photographic printing. I wish to upgrade but I am stuck between buying an i990 or a R800 - which one? The 935 has had software problems with my Powerbook (running 10.3.4), no drivers for Mac 'Panther' I am told! So I am a little worried that the R800 will have similar software problems. On the other hand I have read in other parts of this forum that the i990 has 'red tinge' issues on printed photographs, although the software is totally compatable with 10.3.4. Can this problem with the Canon be solved satisfactorily?
I would really appreciate some help here because I don't want to make an expensive mistake!
Thanks in advance
voicebox.

The R800 has the edge in picture quality and longevity. But lots of people have had problems with Epson's Mac drivers. I use an R800 with Win2k and XP and it works great.
