got canon s900 and my prints coming out with bands across the photo.

i've done deep cleaning, print head alignment and nozzle check and everthing is fine. just figue out what's happening:?

I must ask the customary questions:

1) what inks are you using?

2) what paper are you using?

i am using third party inks since i've had the printer about two years . use canon , kodack,office depot brand haven't had any trouble. using hammermill at the moment. now on matte and plain or heavy card paper doing fine.

Well, the best I can tell you is once you start using third party inks.. things are bound to go wrong. We see it all the time.

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"Beyond that, Canon likes Canon paper. Likes Epson and a few others. But it tends to be pretty specific.

Third party inks and third party papers is the source of your problems.

thanks for the help. be nice to have manufactors to have printers use the same inks i could live with the papers. but the price of inks today and if you have a 6 to 8 cart it gets expensive.
