It seems that tests show that "Red" and "Green" is used very slowly with their 8 color printers. Would not a "grey" ink cartridge give better black and white performance and even help in the color side of things ( in that the hp7960 uses the grey #59 to add depth to color photos)????

Also, will this new generation of canon printers coming out this month offer improved black and white performance? I know they can't match a printer with "grey" inks for black and white, but will their be an improvement in performance??
