Default Muddy shadow areas with 2200

I have had my 2200 for three days and am generally very happy. Profiles are great, speed is good, and the overall quality is superb - so long as the light is hitting the print directly. If I tilt a print with deep shadow areas at an angle to the light the shadows loose details and become muddy. In one photo the background is composed of trees that are dark green. Looking at the print head on they are perfect. Tilt the print 45 degrees to the light and they loose all detail and become a muddy black.
A friend mentioned that someone else had told her of this but I have not found anything on several forums. The problem is worst with PGPP, better with semi-gloss and disappears with matte.
Any help or advice will be sincerely appreciated.
Thanks, Gene

Hmmm. Wonder if this is an example of that old pigment based ink bugaboo "metamerism"? sp?
