Take these values and place them in CD-LabelPrint.

I did the CD-R test print in service mode and the crosshairs appear to be in the right place with CDR(000000,000000) showing in the test printout. But I have to correct the position by about 3-4 mm in both CD LabelPrint and Discus. The problem with this is, that it doesn't print all the way to the edge, leaving a small wedge blank at one side.
A small wedge might be sub mm, unless you have a decent caliper would be hard to get an accurate measurement between the + and the edge. Still if you had a scanner you could scan in that image into a 120mm x 120mm window and count the pixles to get a more accurate measurement. There will be some slight magnification, but such should be within an acceptable tolerance for error.

Or, you can print slightly oversided, by about .1mm or so. The worst that should happen if too oversized the ink might beed up and require blotting with a paper towel. Sub .1mm error wouldn't likely be noticed... to be honest I do my best to align within +/- .25mm.. but i've only used ez photo print. I've not tried anything else nor setting it on the printer as i'm using a home made tray and will eventually get another one... in fact just ordered one real tray.

Looking at the 6000d service manual it would appear to be the same process as the IP3000, IP4000 etc.

Here's a follow up on my Parts Now order: They had told me it could be back ordered untilSeptember ... it's here in my hand today! From the Fla. branch it was $7.00 shipping via FedEx ground.

If anybody's interested in the Epson tray I converted, let me know ($5.00 + $3.85 Priority mail)

Later, - Lew

Go ahead use the IP3000 process it appears to be the same for the 6000.

When confirmed I will add the 6000 number to them.

I know I stored it somewhere... why page 5 I have no idea.

yonatron was their name, running an ip6000d, macintosh, and the printer on an airport no less. If the ip6000 works on an airport and a mac chances are it'll work on a pc over usb no problem.
