Lo all,

I'm looking for a replacement for my old Epson stylus photo 810.
I still have a quite large quantity of epson premium glossy paper
about 200 pcs of 10x15 and some a4 as well. Now i was wondering
how epson paper performs on a non epson printer let's say canon
because i would not like to waste this paper.
Maybe ishouldjust stay with epson and buy a r300. I guess that
will be a major improvement over my old 810..

regards,

Hi,

I own a Canon i850 for a year and I print nice pictures with Canon PP101 and Epson Premium Glossy. No problem.
Problems occurs with Kodak Ultima and Premium: banding time by time when the photo has dark areas.

Bought a r300 very pleased, nice pictures and extremely quiet and smooth, look at the r200 quite the value for not much dough.:|:|

I bought the Epson R300 last weekend after looking for a replacement
for a few weeks and seriously doubting between the epson and the new
canon's.Very happy with the result and i'm sure not to have any problems
with my stock of epson foto paper.
I did try some kodak premium glossy paper but it does not give an output
as nice as on the epson pg paper... Very good printer for only €137

Has anyone tried this new epson colorlife paper in the R300 ?
How was the result ?
