Go to http://www.neilslade.com/papers/inkjetstuff.html

The whole page is about printers. He mentions a few different websites that sell third party ink for like 2 - 5 bucks a cartridge. I'm not sure if any of those are in the UK, but you should check it out.

Hi LM92, although I will only stick to genuine Epson ink for my R300 and have not tried compatibles, I get mine from here

http://www.printerbox.co.uk/

They are currently charging £9.86 per cartridge for genuine Epson, or they sell Jet Tec compatibles for £4.44 per cartridge. Sorry, don't know anything about Jet Tec, but can say I am happy dealing with Printerbox.

Do a Google on Jet Tec, and try a search for Inkrite too, have used theirs in another printer and been happy with them, although i bought them from a local retailer.

Regards,

Stevekin

Edit : Inkrite can be found here http://www.inkriteltd.co.uk/
Jet Tec can be found here http://www.jettec.com/

Why reward Epson for making over priced proprietary lesser quality non refillable product? I refuse to and I'm very happy with my choice!

So you all are very satisfied with the results of the compatible inks? Any colour cast problems? Fading?

P.S
How is the inks from Atlanticinkjets for the R300?

Thanks

For an Epsom 740 I used to get compatible inks from http://www.systeminsight.co.uk based in Southampton. I then bought some even better priced ones from http://www.choicestationery.com which is in Somerset, and also supplies compatible papers. All inks worked well. I shall try them both for prices and quality when I get my new printer. Hope this helps.
