I saw in a magazine where you would have a tube that would feed the ink from a "tank" to the printer. Does anyone have any idea where I can find something like this for my new Epson (I just got and am really impressed with)replacing myPro stylus 5500 and should have done it sooner.

Or am I only dreaming that there is something like this out there!

Niagara continuous ink flow system from http://www.mediastreet.com/cgi-bin/t...astreet/n3.tam

A thing to consider if you use one of these CIS systems is access to product support.
Mediastreet is in the US and seems to be pretty responsive at least to US and Canada. Not sure about other areas.

If you guys visit the DPreview site (printers and printing forum) the general consensus is that the Niagra system is well overpriced and that service is reasonable. the JLW system is nearly half the price (includes ink) and again the service is reasonable, however they are based in Hong Kong, thats a long way from home for most of you guys. I am very happy with my JLW system on my R210.

Try

http://www.InkRepublic.com

They have great Epson desktop bulk ink system, and their price is pretty reasonable comparing with Mediastreet and JLWsale on ebay.

You can buy their system for all of your printers. you can continuously use their components. Their chipset is great too. Auto-reset inklevel to 99% to avoid ink wasting in clean cycle. JLW and Mediastreet are using the chipset which would cost more ink when resetting to 100%.

InkRepublic.com is very famous among photography, CD/DVD cover printing and dye sub industries.Theyhave good reputation and quick customer service too.

I think you are way out on your pricings,The Inkrepublic system isa much higher pricethan the JLW system (an 8 colour system) comparing prices from the web---

The JLW system, 8 inks,supplied filled,110ml x 8--- $229

Ink republic, 7 inks,supplied filled,50ml x 7 plus extra 50ml x7-- $359
please correct me if I am Wrong.

My JLW system resets at about 25% without cleaning cycle.

I expect that the shipping costs of the JLW system may be higher than the Inkrepublic system for customers in the USA.

Trust me

http://www.InkRepublic.com has better ink and cheaper.

You just dont know the truth.

Many people complained about JWLsale's ink. It smells.

Well, it is sad that only few people understand what is good ink and what is "toxic ink"

Simple is that - if it smells, it is toxic. You will get used to it and think it is gone. No, it is not gone, you just get used to it.

JLWsale on ebay uses the ink from China which is brighter but color is off - absolutely not Epson's spectrum. Keep it in mind, many inkking company in China tries to put more solvent in the ink and make it brighter and colorful. The solvent does smell badly and affects your health "A LOT".

I use "A LOT" because most advanced inkking companies in USA and Europe have great control on solvent, some of them even drop the solvent and try other method that is because either soft/mild solvent or heavy solvent does affect people's health and would cause miscarriage and human reproduction.

In fact, most of advanced countries have been requested inkking companies providing MSDS (Material Safty Data Sheet) to customers. It is by law. If customers request, they must provide.

Now, I ask you, do you trust ink from China? I would not, they can did fake MSDS as they want, but still smells and still affect your health a lot.

I am not kidding you, you can easily find these information on the Internet or if you have some common sense on "INK" and the procedure of making ink, you will know the truth.

Now, you tell me, which one is "CHEAPER" ? Great Reputation InkRepublic.com or Chinese JLWSales on ebay?

If you want to use your health and buy cheap ink tank system from Chinese, well, I have no problem with that, it's all your choice.

Guess what, I have not talked about the result of solvent would cause - your JLWsale's inkhoses will be "corrupttd" because of using bad solvent ink. They dont even apply anti-acid stuff on their hose. But InkRepublic.com's ink tube have better design and softer than any others I have seen, andit is anti-acid.

I, myself, would still use ultra pigment ink and http://www.inkrepublic.com bulk ink system. It is SUPER cheap and save me a lot of money.

Besides, it is not $360, it is less than $300.00

By the way, are you from JLWSale? or somehow you are related to them?

Correct me if I am wrong, you only keep boasting ofJLWsale's systemlike a braggadocio, but without providing the correct information to us, I think we should not take your opinion here seriously.

what is sometimes "better and cheaper " isn't necessarily so

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...444&is=REG

lyson inks are pretty much above reproach and their system works perfectly.

Exactlly, gracebcand sjms, you two got the right point.

I have been told that ink from china is only good for first and second batches, they would grab your business in the very beginning, then start lose their quality control so that they can lower down their cost. It is so true.

I dont know about the toxic ink of JLWsale or some others on ebay, but I have read many articles talking about solvent ink.

Here is a good reference for you all:

http://www.digitaloutput.net/content...ntCT.asp?P=542

It is written by Lyson.

If JLWsale sells the ink with bad smell, I would suggest everybody keep away from them. People here may work in a small room or print CD and DVD covers which they may touch them every single day. That is really bad to health.

I am sure InkRepublic.com, MediaStreet.com or Lyson have great ink and they are pretty decent. I dont think they are expensive, of course, you cannot compare bad and destructive ink from JLWsale.
