Default CANON S900 and drivers settings

First, I love this printer.

Question: Should ICM in the drivers be enabled? Dont wanna waist expensive photo paper to find out. If Steve reads this, did you use ICM in the printer's review, and you got the best quality with it enabled?

Thanks

Enable the ICM if you want to use different color profiles. Otherwise, your printer will use the default profile assigned to the printer by the operating system. This works well with most printing. The Adobe 1998 color profile is a wide color gamut profile used by some highend digicams and by Adobe Photoshop. Most digicams use the sRGB color profile which isn't quite as high quality as the Adobe 1998 color profile. Some paper vendor have specific profiles for printers.

Thanks. I think it is the opposite though. With ICM on, color correction using sRGB will be done, at least that's what my ptinter help says when I right click on the ICM box. So, you uncheck it to use another color profile.
