This little problem seems to happen when the printer (i9100) has just worked fine maybe eight hours previous. I turn the power on and do a nozzle check. The first few vertical lines of magenta and cyan are missing as well as the first parts of those same color rectangles below. Afterabout four cleanings the test patterns above are as they should be. It takes longer however for the rectangular magenta and cyan boxes to be completely colored. Is there some easy solution to this? Am I possibly doing something wrong? I'd certainly appreciate any ideas.

Hi

There is a possibility the print head is running too hot. The nozzles are embedded in a ceramic base and this becomes quite hot, so when you turn the printer off, the ink mey be drying out at those two points.

Cheers Bob Monk:-)
