I read the review of the iP4000 and would like to purchase it. However banner printing is one of my requirements. The review made reference to banner printing in the paper handling section.

Has anyone tried to print a banner using this printer? My usual banner is five sheet and I mostly use Publisher 2000. My operating system is XP Home.

If the iP4000 cannot print a banner can someone recommend a printer that has as good as quality?

Thanks

I don't think the iP4000 does banners. It has a function where you can make large posters by gluing individual 8.5 X 11 pages together, but I think that would also be the only way to make a banner. I looked through the guide and manual – neither showed it would handle larger than 8.5 X 11 paper and search found nothing for "banner".

You might look at the HP 5740.

You should be able to set a custom size just over 23" long but that's the limit on recent Canons.

Thanks y'all, I guess I'll have to keep looking. Too bad, I thought the Canon's do great pictures.
